Designing a BS Card in Adobe Illustrator

Steps to create the project:

1. Profile: Print
2. Number of Artboards: 2 (for front and back)
3. Measurements: (Width: 3.5, Height 2) inches
4. Orientation: Landscape
5. Bleed: 0.125 inches (Top, Botton, Left, Right)
6. Color Mode: CMYK
7. Raster Effects: High (300 ppi)

Creating safe zones:

1. Draw a rectangle (Width: 3.25, Height: 1.75) inches, then align it to the center of the artboard. 
2. Select the rectangle > View > Guides > Make Guides

Exporting for Print:

1. File > Save a copy > Save as type: Adobe PDF
2. Adobe PDF Preset: High Quality Print
3. Standard: PDF/x-1a:20001
4. Marks and Bleeds > Marks: check Trim Marks. Also check Bleeds > Use Document Bleed Settings
5. Save PDF
